Ministers from the Bosniak Party (BS) cannot influence important decisions made by the Government, which was best demonstrated by the events related to the approval for the construction of a monument to Metropolitan Amfilohi of the Montenegrin Coast, according to the president of the Bosniak Democratic Movement (BDP) Sead Šahman.
He said that leaving the session of ministers from the parties of minority nations, due to the Government's decision to give consent for the construction of the monument, represents a performance for the broad masses of the people.
- Attempts are being made, both on one side and on the other, to use this for pre-election purposes in anticipation of the local elections in the Capital. It's purely about a political performance that is reasonable for the masses, however we see that ministers from BS cannot make crucially important decisions within the Government - said Šahman to the MINA Agency.
He stated that the representatives of less numerous nations left the Government session, but not the Government itself.
- It is about the fact that only two months ago they convinced us that the economic and infrastructure projects of the 44th reconstructed Government would be a priority. At this moment, we see that this is not the case - added Šahman.
As he said, the BS assured that the number of portfolios they received in the reconstructed government was impressive.
- However, today we see that five out of 32 members of the Government is not a number. Therefore, you always have 27 people on the other side, that is, members of the Government, who will at any moment vote for the decision that is acceptable to them - said Šahman.
According to him, "ministers from BS serve only to cover up and wash the political biography of their allies in the ruling majority".
- It seems to me that the legate and the legacy we had from a previous period of time has simply been thrown under our feet and it is trying to present itself as such to Bosniak interests - said Šahman.
He said that he believes that Bosniak interests in Montenegro are at a much higher level compared to what, as he said, are invented and fictitious departments that until now were non-existent or at the level of certain departments, directorates, and administrations, so they have outgrown to the ministries just so that someone would be a minister.
Šahman reminded that on July 31 they announced that they would form BDP.
- Bosniak for the reason that we feel ourselves in our own place, so it is about the autochthonous Bosniak people in Montenegro, democratic because we believe that the previous political party was not so democratic and that it did not reflect in the best way what the Bosniak interests are, and the movement because we want certain movements towards the future - said Šahman.
He said that the diaspora was very present in Montenegro in August and that they used it to communicate with them, as well as that they received significant support from a large number of associations and associations, from the United States of America, Western Europe, and the countries of the region. congratulations on the announcement of the formation of the BDP.
Šahman said that this week they received a decision on the registration of the movement, so that the formal and legal conditions have been met to start program activities.
- In the coming days, we will present our visual and programming identity and officially start our political activities - added Šahman.
He said that Bosniaks in Montenegro are an autochthonous people, on their own, and that they live in almost all parts of the country.
- As such, they should be a partner and ally of Montenegro, not a servant or vassal for someone else's interests - Šahman pointed out.
In BDP, as he stated, they believe that the economic condition of areas where Bosniaks or members of less numerous nations live is not at an enviable level.
He said that it will be high on the agenda of the BDP, which he will present in the coming days.
- Therefore, we believe that Bosniak interests in Montenegro are at a much higher level than it is now being presented, and I repeat - Bosniaks as partners, not as servants or vassals - said Šahman.
