In yesterday's conversation with Prime Minister Spajić, in the presence of the Head of the EU Delegation to Montenegro, Johan Satler, I took the opportunity to once again confirm the opposition's demands regarding overcoming the parliamentary crisis, announced DPS President Danijel Živković.
"For the return of the regular work of the Parliament of Montenegro, it is necessary to annul the unconstitutional decision on the retirement of Judge Ðuranović, as well as to sign an agreement between the opposition and the government, which will clearly specify that there will be no changes to the Constitution in the part of identity issues, as well as no changes to the Law on Montenegrin Citizenship.
Finally, I warned Prime Minister Spajić that if the parliamentary majority at the state level prevents the formation of a government in Budva and thus once again overthrows the constitutional order, the opposition's response will be a blockade of all local assemblies and complete paralysis of socio-political life.
The opposition led by the Democratic Party of Socialists is determined to stop the legal rampage of the government and rein in those who clearly intend to overthrow the constitutional order and legal system of Montenegro. We will be persistent and uncompromising in this fight," said the DPS leader.
