Živković with Kvinta: The parliamentary majority distances Montenegro from the European value system

Thanks to the representatives of the diplomatic corps, Danijel Živković, on the opportunity to exchange views on the key elements that characterize the current political circumstances, got acquainted with the activities of the intra-party reform, which is in the final phase, and assessed that the DPS successfully completed the reform process and confirmed that it has strength with the new leadership and credibility, which is confirmed by the results of the elections at the local level and the growing trend of support from the voting public. He also recalled the constructive role of the DPS in the opposition benches and reiterated the Party's firm determination and dedication to preserving the national interests of Montenegro and its European course." In this direction, he welcomed the receipt of IBAR, but also pointed out that this does not change the fact that the actors of the parliamentary majority are in reality moving Montenegro away from the European path and the European system of values, which is reflected in the continuous political instability within the parliamentary majority, the collapse of the system's institutions, especially in the area of ​​justice and security, as well as the constant attempt to change the civic character of Montenegrin society.
"The Vice-President of DPS Ivan Vuković reiterated the principled attitude of DPS towards policies that serve the emancipation of Montenegrin society, multi-ethnic democracy and the European perspective of Montenegro. Andrija Nikolić is, according to the DPS announcement; pointed to numerous anomalies in the work of the Assembly, especially apostrophizing the role of the Prime Minister of Montenegro, who, with the support of the parliamentary majority, continuously ignores the constitutional obligation to be subject to parliamentary supervision.
