Abazovic: I will not replace Damjanovic and Kovac, I did not know that they were going to Banja Luka

The Prime Minister in the Technical term, Dritan Abazovic, said that Minister Aleksandar Damjanovic and Marko Kovac would not be replaced because they attended the commemoration of the unconstitutional day of Republika Srpska in Banja Luka.

He said that he would not be part of the "Salva attack" campaign on the Minister of Justice, Marko Kovac on the occasion of his presence of the ceremony on the occasion of the unconstitutional day of Republika Srpska.

Great interests have caused the presence of ministers to celebrate in Banja Luka. Justice Minister Marko Kovac was part of a delegation that visited Potocari on July 11th. He was the first minister of justice to go to commemorate the deportation of Muslims, Bosniaks from Herceg Novi with the Minister of Internal Affairs Filip Adzic. At the time, I didn't hear Salve applause on their account. Now you expect me to be part of the Salva Campaign to the Minister of Kovac. This will not happen, I do the job extremely principled and accurately - said Abazovic.

According to him, both Damjanovic and Kovac said that they support the constitutional arrangement of BiH, territorial integrity and the Constitutional Court's decisions, and in this context they set aside from what is the official policy of the Government of Montenegro.

I will not go into whether it should have been there or not. What was an agreement to go to Potocari together was fully respected. They have the right to their political apartments, I absolutely appreciate and respect it. I want to build a tolerance society, the width of acceptance of diversity and I think we need to deal with some other topics. I think themes of altercas and those that cause divisions are not needed and they are too represented. I ask all the ministers that whenever we need to withdraw some political move, we look out of context whether he will cause some reaction in terms of affirming divisions, or something that would be reconciliation - said Abazović.

He claims that he did not know that the ministers would go to the ceremony, noting that the government had no domestics in this.

Do not expect me to do something that is contrary to my opinion I stop my neck with my neck. Of course I won't replace them, these are my colleagues. Everything that has been a matter of agreement so far has been respected. I consider individual actions part of a political color that definitely exists in Montenegro - the Prime Minister added.

Abazovic also claims that the visit of Ministers Banja Luka will not impair the interstate relationships of Montenegro and BiH.

They know the official attitude of the Government - we fully respect the court decisions and their territorial integrity. We would love to see more inclusion within their society, as they would certainly like them to see with us. We all have to do our best to contribute to greater reconciliation in the region - Abazovic said.

When asked how he commented on what Damjanovic said that he went to Banja Luka on a person and Kovac as a minister, Abazovic said it was a matter for them.

I heard with both ministers. Damjanovic said what was fully true. They are ministers, but that call did not go through diplomatic channels. All of us, when we refer to an event that has an international character, must exist an official letter and a platform. Is anyone calling someone privately, it's not a thing - said Abazovic.

He also claims that he does not know how the Put Damjanovic and Kovac in Republika Srpska was financed.

That part that is populism I do not want to affirm, because this government has provided Miliono and millions of euros in Montenegro to the state of Montenegro. I am sorry that on January 10, 2023, instead of affirming the topic of buying the port of Bar, we should talk who was a participant in the event in Republika Srpska - said Abazović.

He also commented on the reaction of the mother of Srebrenica, who sent protest to the Government and the Prime Minister for the presence of ministers to the "celebration" of the unconstitutional day of the RS.

What to say ... I keep going back to what is more important, and people forget because they want to have a negative matrix, and they just do it because of certain interests ... Did anyone thank Mark Kovac for being in Srebrenica after so many years as a minister Justice? Did anyone tell him it was a good step towards reconciliation? No one is looking for any medal. And when something needs to be criticized and the media attacks, then it stands in order. There will be no one in that order - Abazovic said.

“To the elections when the Constitutional Court is selected”

Asked if the Ura would support the initiative to shorten the mandate to the Assembly if it was submitted by the end of January, Abazović said that most of it existed without its party.

In my opinion, until the Constitutional Court is selected, it would not be a good idea to go to the polls. If someone wants to force to shame to go to the polls without the Constitutional Court - luckily - emphasized Abazovic.

Abazovic re -urged the judges of the Constitutional Court.

It is known which parties did not want the judges to be chosen. Completing the Constitutional Court is a key that will unblock all other processes in Montenegro - Abazovic said.
