Ambassadors of Kvinta welcomed the decision of the Constitutional Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro to propose candidates for judges of the Constitutional Court today.
We are encouraged that parties from a wide political spectrum worked together and reached an agreement on three candidates - they said.
As they said, it is now up to the parliament to take the final steps in this extended process at the plenary session.
The re-establishment of a fully functional Constitutional Court is urgently necessary for the functioning of democracy in the country and the interest of all citizens. This would mark an important step out of the constitutional crisis and towards the necessary reforms that will enable the country to move forward on the path of European integration - the Kvinta ambassadors said in a post on Twitter.
