ANB is again under the control of Russian intelligence and their proxies from the BIA

Abazović plans to secure the adoption of amendments to this law by urgent procedure, after which the conditions would be met for Boris Milić to retire operatives with the most experience. At the same time, the new management plans to restart false disciplinary procedures in order to terminate the employment of people who are a problem for the realization of Abazović's ideas - Pobjeda sources from the Agency warn.

The cooperation with the Montenegrin National Security Service will be completely terminated due to the lack of trust in the personnel who are at its head, as well as in the state institutions in general, are the comments that can be heard in some diplomatic circles in Podgorica, and about which Pobjeda's sources from the Agency have been warned. for national security.
- It is also said that part of the international activities, which were agreed during the time of the recent director Sava Kentera, was abruptly canceled by the partner services, with the explanation that "unplanned obligations arose", which sent a clear message that they have no confidence in the new management - say our interlocutors.
HOW TO INCLUDE YOUR PEOPLE
Abazović, they add, continues to staff the Agency, so "at the same time as appointing staff with questionable resumes and lack of experience, he ordered activities to be carried out in order to permanently get rid of the most experienced Montenegrin intelligence officers".
- These days, the Agency is working rapidly on preparations for putting into procedure the amendments to the Law on ANB, which provide for the discretionary right to be granted to the director of the Agency to retire an official with more than 30 years of pensionable service. Abazović plans to secure the adoption of amendments to this law under an urgent procedure, after which the conditions would be met for Boris Milić to retire operatives with the most experience - Pobjeda's sources from the Agency warn.
They also point out that the new management is planning to restart false disciplinary procedures in order to terminate the employment relationship of people who are a problem for the realization of Abazović's ideas.
- They are doing this following the example of Dejan Vukšić - added our interlocutors.
Pobjeda wrote in a series of articles that the former first man of the Agency, who was appointed to that position, thanks to the DF and people from the top of the Church of Serbia, tried to get rid of many ANB operatives loyal to the state, in order to ensure the smooth flow of Serbian, i.e. of the Russian factor in the Agency.
The new management of ANB is now preparing the "institutional framework" to implement that old plan.
SELECTION
According to them, the Agency is preparing for the reception of new staff, "for whose selection the only criterion will be political suitability, that is, belonging to Ura or recommendations from Ura, but also from the Democratic Front".
- There will be no quality security checks and assessments of the candidate's professional references. The Ministry of Finance, on the order of the outgoing Prime Minister Abazović, provided the financial resources necessary to enable the recruitment of new employees, so work is being done rapidly on the selection of candidates for more than a hundred vacant positions, which represents almost half of the Agency - say Pobjeda sources.
It was agreed, they add, that part of the officials should be chosen by the Democratic Front, "so that this political entity would support changes to the Law on ANB and would not raise questions related to events within the Agency".
- The events on the political scene after the local elections, i.e. the almost certain upcoming parliamentary elections, after which Ura will not have an influence on the executive power as in the previous period, accelerated the previously established plan of Abazović, who ordered that all activities be carried out as soon as possible, in order to ensure that, even after the expected loss of power, he preserves his influence in the service - sources from the Agency point out.
DESTRUCTION OF SERVICE
The dismantling of the already weak national security service began rapidly at the end of 2020, when the pro-Russian and pro-Serbian government of Zdravko Krivokapić, in which Abazović was deputy prime minister and coordinator of the security services, took control.
In the pro-Russian and pro-Serbian government, Abazović found himself as the "guardian of Western values" of Montenegro, with the full confidence of Western addresses, however, when he overthrew Krivokapić and he became prime minister at the end of April this year, it turned out that he is the least pro-Western person.
He was forced to appoint Sava Kentera, a man whom the Western partners trusted, as the head of ANB. But, as he failed to bring it under his control, and then by appointing his friend Artan Kurti as inspector general in the Agency to gain insight into secret data, he dismissed him on October 7 - in the midst of two international operations - breaking the network of Russian spies in to our country and exposing the state tobacco smuggling scheme.
Abazović was not informed about these actions until they were finished, and the branches of both cases lead to his Ura, and possibly to him personally.
- What Abazović is doing will permanently devastate the Agency's capacities, and the goal, even if it seems so, is to remove the last line of defense against the complete destruction of the state of Montenegro, which is what the Russian intelligence services are working diligently on in cooperation with proxies from Serbia - our interlocutors point out.
According to them, the international reputation of ANB has been ruined, primarily, by the choice of personnel solutions that do not enjoy any trust from the partner services.
The departure of officers who have proven themselves as fighters for European and Euro-Atlantic Montenegro, with the simultaneous reception of those who support the regime of the Russian Federation and the values it personifies, would create the conditions to strengthen the Russian intelligence influence on the Montenegrin national security service, and thus remove the strongest obstacle. the deviation of Montenegro from the European path - Pobjeda's sources from ANB warn.
They are also categorical that this is not about the ignorance of the decision-makers, but about deliberate activity whose goal is to permanently disable the Agency for the Protection of the Interests of the State of Montenegro.
