The talks regarding the formation of the authorities in Podgorica, to which the European Union and the SEP responded, and which were initiated by the holder of the DPS list, Nermin Abdić, have ended. As he told the media, they had a constructive dialogue.
"It is clear that 55 percent of the citizens of Podgorica asked for changes. I do not want to play with the will of the citizens of Podgorica, we have our own political principles and positions that we will not trample on and we will not deal with armchairs, but our primary focus is the citizens," said Abdić.
Earlier today, the coalition "Jakov Milatović - For a better Podgorica" ​​announced that the parties that make up it will come out with a platform in a short period of time, which will be the basis of the course of negotiations.
Abdić briefly said that it was a legitimate thing.
Ilija Mugoša from SEP told the media after the meeting that it was productive, but without concrete goals and a platform.
"Today was very productive, we discussed the results after the elections and noted what all citizens see, which is that changes for the better are needed. As someone who comes from the European Progress Party, we believe that discussions about any government should be based on concrete goals and in this call we saw the lack of a concrete platform for negotiations on the basis of which we would determine ourselves to be fast. We agreed that after receiving the concrete platform, we will organize new consultations and that we will receive it this Sunday and that we will organize the talks next week, before the holidays," Mugoša said.
Boris Mugoša, representing the European Union, was also at the meeting.
"For the European Union, the program post-coalition is only important, and the personnel will be a derived category because Podgorica is in institutional chaos. The voice of the citizens was clear and I expect that those political subjects who during the campaign made a departure from the current government and will form a stable majority in the interest citizens. I believe we will come to an agreement," he concluded.
