The former executive director of the Environmental Protection Fund, Jovan Martinović, and the employee of that company, Andrej Nedović, were arrested by order of the Special State Prosecutor's Office.
They were arrested on the suspicion that they obtained a benefit of more than 20 million euros by improperly awarding emission credits to the company Uniprom.
By order of the Special State Prosecutor's Office, the Special Police Department deprived J. M. and A. N., former executive director and employee of the Environmental Protection Fund (Eko fund), of their freedom for the criminal offense of abuse of position in business operations, co-perpetration, and due to improper allocation and registration in the register of free emission credits to the company 'Uniprom' DOO Nikšić, which provided him with a benefit of more than 20 million euros - said Radonjić.
