The verdict of the High Court in Podgorica confirmed the decision of the Basic Court in Bar, which established that my dismissal from the position of director of the Public Prosecutor's Office "Vukosava Ivanović - Mašanović" in Bar was not founded in the slightest, neither in law nor in justice.
I feel obliged, primarily because of my colleagues with whom I worked while I was at the head of this prestigious institution, my professional biography, the public in Bar and Montenegro, to point out a few facts.
This verdict finally proved that, like many of my colleagues, I did my job honorably, honestly, conscientiously and honestly. In my work, I was guided by professional principles, appreciating above all the work and effort of my associates, whom I perceived as my partners in a demanding and highly responsible work process.
It is a priceless feeling when you know that with your upbringing, culture, behavior, work and professional ethics, you deserve to walk with your forehead held high. When you can look your fellow man in the eye. This is a privilege that, unfortunately, the episodic actors of an obscure character in the form of the former Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Vesna Bratić, will not experience.
Force is most often and almost always excessive and unjust. And even when it is wrapped in some legal form. It then speaks the most about the weakness of character of those who apply it, because if nationalism is the last refuge of scoundrels, the application of any form of force is a characteristic of a frustrated person.
I am proud, as a citizen of Montenegro, that this verdict proved that the state of Montenegro through its institutions shows supremacy over arrogant individuals, who, knowingly violating the law, actually wanted to collapse the state order.
At the foundation of every state is justice. If there is no justice, there is no state. All those who, with their violent acts, leaning on their nationalistic dark poisoned and limited minds, harnessed to tarnish honorable people, for the sake of political points, rejoiced in vain. Because justice is slow, but it is attainable. And all this is a moment that disappears, only Montenegro is eternal.
