Batrićević spoke in the Bundestag, pointed out the challenges awaiting Montenegro

Montenegrin historian and professor at the Faculty of Montenegrin Language and Literature Boban Batrićević spoke yesterday in the Bundestag in front of numerous members of the German parliament and other guests about Montenegro and the challenges that await our country in the near future.
Batrićević's presentation was held as part of the panel dedicated to Southeast Europe, one of the central forums of the 27th International Gathering in Berlin, chaired by German SPD MP Josip Juratović. In addition to Batrićević, Serbian politician and writer Vuk Drašković and former Kosovo minister and ambassador, university professor Ahmet Šalja spoke about the situation in the Western Balkans.
In his presentation, Batrićević expressed his concern over the stagnation of European integration in the past three years and pointed to the danger of foreign influence in the internal affairs of Montenegro. Batrićević called on Germany and the European Union to help Montenegro in its integration into the EU and explained the reasons for the importance of Montenegro's entry into the community of European nations in the context of stabilizing conditions in the Western Balkans and preventing authoritarian and hegemonic policies in the region.
The international gathering in Berlin continues for two more days, and more panels will be organized on the situation in the Balkans, in which the Montenegrin representative will also participate. International gatherings in Berlin have been started since 1996 at the initiative of several German parliamentarians at the time. Representatives of political parties, governments, economists, businessmen and social activists from all over the world participate in them.
