Borel Djukanovic: I appreciate your efforts to bring Montenegro to the leader in the EU accession process

The Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the EU Josep Borel thanked the former President Milo Djukanovic on the letter sent to him by the end of his term.

Borel points out in the event that the EU is determined to protect peace and stability and work on achieving prosperity in the Western Balkans, and extremely respects the partnership between Montenegro as a neighbor, the Future Member States.

I appreciate your long-term efforts to bring Montenegro and the EU closer, and to bring Montenegro to that today - the leader in the EU accession process. I believe that our strong strong determination is our Montenegro to get its place in the EU. The security challenges with which in Europe today are facing to show how significant it is to be each other. The EU welcomes the continuous full compliance of Montenegro with shared external and security policy. Montenegro consistently shows that it chooses the way to the EU as its strategic direction and the future for their people - Navoi Borel in the letter.

He said that Eeas would continue to support the efforts to keep Montenegro firmly on the EU's path to the reforms that are obliged to progress in the EU integration process.
