The Constitutional Court decided at today's session that Judge Budimir Šćepanović will remain in office until May 31, 2025.
"Two judges considered that Judge Budimir Šćepanović met the conditions for retirement on May 31, 2024, while three judges considered that Budimir Šćepanović would meet the conditions for termination of office on May 31, 2025," states the notification of the President of the Constitutional Court Snežana Armenko to the President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović.
She further adds that, taking into account the above, all five judges of the Constitutional Court of Montenegro agree that the conditions have been met for the announcement of a public call for the election of a judge of the Constitutional Court of Montenegro to fill the position of Judge Budimir Šćepanović, for which the President of Montenegro is competent.
