"Budva Our City": Mikijelj asked DPS to support him through his channels, offered them 30 percent of the power

The latest political blunders of Mladen Mikijelj, a henchman of the Budvanska organized crime group and security-interested individuals, can only serve to give the public a good laugh these days, say representatives of the "Budva Our City" list.

- This stormtrooper who physically attacked municipal official Marijana Božović and against whom legal proceedings have been initiated for this is clearly losing ground and is spouting nonsense that no one believes. The best thing he has said about himself is that he is ready to attack women in order to get his hands on the mayor's chair and have control of the municipality's budget of 65 million. The nervousness of this "gentleman" with which he entertains the public by playing a dangerous face has grown to a worrying level because he realizes that he will never be mayor - they state.

Firstly, they add, because betrayal is synonymous with his personal and political actions, and secondly because he reduced the political entity representing the New Serbian Democracy from 12 mandates before the elections to only three mandates that it currently has.

- If he had any moral and political responsibility, he would have resigned due to the electoral fiasco in two election cycles from which he definitely gained the status of "political gravedigger of the NSD Budva". No one destroyed and enslaved this party like his little one who physically attacked women while running wild in the assembly hall. Manly and heroic, as befits his character. In any country with serious institutions, after such incidents and excesses, he would have been banned from any public work and his place would be high on the pillar of shame - "Budva our city" states.

As they point out, "the noise this individual is creating these days is embodied in the famous folk wisdom where a thief shouts at the top of his voice: "Catch the thief".

- Fortunately, in Montenegro, the rule has long been in effect that it is not what someone says to you that matters, but who told you it. The public has the opportunity to see two Mikijeljs with disgust, both in desperate straits. The first one calls us to reconciliation and practically whines and begs us to form a government with him, in which case we will be the best in the world and all the dirt and insults he directed at us on the principle that he is ready to do anything for the sake of power will be forgotten. The second Mikijelj calls us criminals, a drug cartel, traitors and the worst epithets in the world in order to intimidate us, presumably because he could physically attack one of our colleagues again. Such political and character dualism has not been seen on the political scene for a long time - they emphasized.

They also wonder how Mikijelj has no one on his side to tell him, here we are begging him to save at least a little dignity if he has any left and to stop humiliating himself with such statements and jumping around the assembly hall.

- Well, it's not like everything is allowed for the sake of a chair and a salary of 3,000 euros for the director of the Coastal Zone. He served as the director of the Coastal Zone for 18 months in the minority government of the DPS and received 54,000 euros from that infamous DPS, so he has no right to say anything to anyone. His cooperation with the DPS was very profitable for him and we see that today's morality "never with them" did not work for him then. And if he has now, we call on him to donate those 54,000 euros to charity and thus prove that he has truly repented. It is especially humiliating how Mikijelj, through his channels, is begging the Budva DPS to support him in the local government and in return is offering them 30 percent of the government because it seems that the DPS is right for him when they support him and when they don't, then they are evildoers - they emphasized.

As they state, this is again some strange dualism or lack of principles.

- It could be both. In the end, we warmly recommend that Mikijelj, no matter how difficult and painful it is for him, accept the fact that he will never sit in the chair of the mayor and that he will not have the opportunity to get his hands on the municipal budget. We will not allow his kidnappers, OKG Budvanska and BIL, to waste municipal money like they are doing in Morski dobro. It would be a shame if they were to separate now because the competent institutions will soon be looking for them, so it is best to find them in one place, in the offices of Morski dobro, where this Government of Montenegro has gathered them all, and they have turned state institutions into OKG headquarters - they concluded.
