The Montenegrin Orthodox Church is organized by the Ceremonial Academy on the occasion of the celebration of the Holy Ivan Crnojević holiday, which will be held in the Great Sala of Parliament of the capital Cetinje, tomorrow at 7 p.m.
The documentary on the monastery complex of Crnojević on Ćipur will be shown, and the lecture on this monument of Montenegrin culture will be held by Branislav Borozan. Author Lazar Jovović will speak about the documentary film.
The Montenegrin Orthodox Church, 20 years ago - in July 2003, Ivan Crnojevic named his saint, and his endoff day - July 4, for the holiday.
The rite of the canonization of the founder of Cetinje was performed by its high-ending Archbishop Cetinje and Metropolitan Montenegrin Mihailo in the Saint John the Baptist's Cathedral in Bajs, near Cetinje.
The ceremonial academy that will be held in the morning of Cetinje, is one of the events that are organized within the marking of three decades since the renovation of the Montenegrin Orthodox Church.
It was renovated on Lučincan, on October 31, 1993, and the Mital-Social Archimandrite in the US Orthodox Church was elected to the Spiritual Chief of his high-ending of Anthony (Abramović).
