Civil resistance was held in Cetinje today, as they say. One of the participants in the protest for Antena M believes that it is the politicians who are working against the interests of Montenegrin society.
"Today, we have gathered as free citizens to express rebellion and disagreement with the entire situation prevailing in Montenegrin society, which was created by a malicious and incompetent political elite. Instead of politicians working for the betterment of this society, they represent the worst part of our community, how and why the current unhealthy social climate that prevails in Montenegro came to be is another story," says the citizen of Cetinje.
He pointed out that it is the duty of the citizens of Montenegro to clearly show their dissatisfaction.
"I believe that it is our duty as free citizens to clearly state our position and point out the clear deviation of society. As you can see on the banners, it is about economic topics, that is, about unbearable food prices that affect every citizen of this country, then about the inability of politicians to care the health of the citizens is about Q fever, then about the president's language policy, the erection of a monument to the unmemorial who spread hatred in Montenegrin society".
And the messages on the banners are as follows: "When I see the prices of food, I decide that I'm not hungry", "A bale of parsley is 0.90 cents, don't screw it up", "Naaaaarod is dead hungry", "Milatović, the most beautiful language is śedi jado", " Jakov, how well you understand monuments, you understand each other very well", "You'll hit me with lithium, I'll hit you with lithium", "Politicians muuu... cows Q", "It's not Risto that the Democrats say to him, but he's the demon of Montenegro", " Get up Risto so the Democrats lie down", "Heart for Gaza" and "Glory to Ukraine".
"Citizens must get rid of their fear of politicians and publicly point out everything that bothers them, if they are free and Montenegrin society will be more mature," was the message of one of the gathered.
The citizens ended the protest walk in front of the residence of the President of Montenegro by playing the Ukrainian and Montenegrin national anthems and a minute of silence for the Ukrainian victims of Russian aggression and the victims of the genocide in Gaza.
