The number of Montenegrins in Serbia has halved in the last ten years. At the same time, in 1981 there were almost 150,000 and now there are only 20,000 Montenegrins, Rade Bojović, program coordinator of the Civic Initiative (GI) "May 21", said on Twitter.
We remind you that according to the results of the census held in 2022, published on the RZS website, there are a total of 6,647,003 citizens in the Republic of Serbia, of which 20,238 are Montenegrins.
