Djukanovic: I expect victory in the second round of the presidential election

I want to share the pleasure that Montenegro has once again confirmed a very good democratic capacity. The elections have passed in a quiet atmosphere, in which people were free to express their will - said the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Socialist Milo Djukanovic at a press conference after the first round of the presidential election.

In the first round, he added, what they wanted and that was what they planned to accomplish.

I have achieved 36 percent of the votes, which is slightly above 120,000 votes in absolute numbers, which I consider to be a valuable result. There is a serious advantage over the other candidate, with whom I will compete in the second round - said Djukanovic.

The reason for satisfaction, he adds, is clearly recognized by electoral tanks, that is, they know where the "pockets" of future support and will do all in the next 14 days to create assumptions for activating them.

We claimed that the most important thing is to keep Montenegro on its European path. We are satisfied with the degree of support. We believe that this is a good basis for upgrading in the next 14 days and a win in the presidential election - said Djukanovic.

The results, according to him, confirmed that Montenegro needed the election.

Remember how much I insisted on this in the preceding Dogini. There was no understanding of those who found themselves in the executive government undeservedly, gripped the undeserved privilege. The results confirm that the vast majority of the electorate is in the mood to conclude the most important choices and to make Montenegro from the crisis. I project as a final result of the presidential election, an excellent wind in the sail in the recent parliamentary elections to confirm the power of civic and European Montenegro and get a government that will lead it - Djukanovic said.

When asked by a journalist if he expects to win the second round, he answered in the affirmative.

I have already announced the victory, I expect the victory - said Djukanovic.

Asked if he expected the Vice -President of the Evrop Movement, Jakov Milatovic said in the second round that he had no candidate he expected.

Whatever it comes, it's weaker than I am, so I'm ready to win whoever it is - said Djukanovic.

Asked if Milatovic was the most unusual opponent, he replied that he had no convenient or inconvenient anti -thekandidate.

You saw in the campaign that the key offer was to defeat Milo Djukanovic, not the offer for the further development of Montenegro. There is no convenient candidate among them, because they obviously have an obsession to defeat me. Whoever is mykandid, my goal is the same, my strategy is, I do not adapt it to any opponent - Djukanovic said, adding that he considers the best articulars what the needs of the civil European Montenegro are.

However, the citizens of the verdict, he added, is acceptable for him, but he was convinced that he could beat Milatovic.

Asked to comment on the total result of the 60s, he said he was not inclined to "add up grandparents".
