DPS Budva: Investigate the circumstances under which Nikola Jovanović obtained an apartment for himself

After the public information provided by the NGO MANS, about the fact that during the mandate of Marko Carević, the President of the Budva Municipal Assembly and high-ranking official of the Democratic Front, Nikola Jovanović, obtained for himself a 109-square-meter apartment for twice the usual price per square meter in Budva, we invite the prosecution to investigate all the circumstances under which Jovanović was able to pay 783 euros per square meter of a three-room apartment with a view of the sea and a parking space - said the Municipal Board of the Democratic Party of Socialists Budva.

Bearing in mind that the proceedings against Mr. Jovanović are still ongoing, in which he is suspected of being a participant in a criminal organization for money laundering, and that in his today's answer to MANS, the President of the Municipal Assembly unconvincingly explains that he himself - with his own hands - carried out most of the construction works, everything points to the fact that this business-private deal of Jovanović was concluded to the detriment of the citizens of Budva - it was stated in the announcement.

They remind the public in Budva and Montenegro that, as they said, "Jovanović was always the first and the loudest when it was necessary to suspect others, usually unfounded, and today we see that his example confirms the old saying: 'It's not what he tells you, but who you say'".
