DPS Budva: With the appearance of BS, the city once again became a meeting place for the worst nationalist propaganda

With the concert of the controversial group Belgrade Union, which ignites anti-Western sentiment at its performances, and sings in praise of Putin's campaign in Ukraine, pretending that it is actually a message of peace, Budva has once again become a meeting place of the worst nationalist propaganda, according to the Municipal Committee of the Democratic Party of Socialists ( DPS) Budva.
In that party, they said that the city, where thousands of Ukrainians and Russians live, who took refuge from the horrors of war, is a city that should represent a place where the cultural and entertainment scene of multi-ethnic Montenegro will be affirmed, where artists will perform from the region, but they are true and not political activists behind the microphone, sent a message with this concert about his attitude towards Putin's aggression towards Ukraine, towards the NATO alliance, and towards the western orientation of Montenegro.
The government, which has had no legitimacy in our municipality for months and is afraid of elections, is trying to raise its rating by paying for this transparent pro-Putin propaganda. And they do all this with the money of the citizens who live in our municipality, many of whom are ashamed of what Budva looks like. When we take into account the recent attack on Albanian tourists in our neighboring municipality, as well as the desecration of the cathedral of St. Tripuna, such provocations on a national basis are once again undermining multinational and multi-ethnic harmony, both in Budva and in Montenegro in general - it is emphasized in the announcement of the Budva DPS.
In that party, they say that the new government has decided to solve problems by ignoring them.
It is hypocritical that the government at the state level is allegedly advocating for the country's strategic course that is oriented towards the West, and that the deputies of that majority, the ministers of that government as well as the local authorities of this country, behave as if Montenegro is a Russian governorate - the statement concluded. .
