DPS Media Center: The Democrats have proven themselves as anti-NATO propagators and servants of the Great Serbian ideology

By voting that the day of the liberation of Pljevlja from the fascist occupation is no longer celebrated as the Day of the Municipality, and that the citizens of this multi-ethnic and multi-religious environment should celebrate the Orthodox holiday of St. On Friday, as Pljevalja Day, Bečić's Democrats showed their true colors. They laid bare the fact that for them the fight against fascist terror, which enabled the creation of the modern world, is not a fundamental value, they said in the Media Center of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS).
In that party, they state that the Democrats have shown that they are ready to disrupt religious and ethnic harmony, in order to serve the Great Serbian ideology, "running at the same time to fulfill the demands of the Democratic Front and their principals."
That is why it is not surprising that the Democrats are silent and hiding, when their official and councilor candidate of that party in the local elections in Savnik, Milenko Božović, incites war in the neighboring country and makes himself available to the "Serbian army" in the "defense of Kosovo". There is no reaction from the party headquarters to the dangerous nationalist outbursts of its official. The Democrats are silent, and as usual, they wait for it to pass... - it was stated in the press release of the DPS Media Center.
The party which, as they say in the DPS, falsely presents itself as a representative of progressive, civilizing ideas, has shown many times that it is a mere follower of Andrija Mandić and the politics of the Democratic Front.
Although they often falsely present themselves as representatives of Western values, the Democrats are remembered by the public as opponents of Montenegro joining NATO. We remind you that back in 2014, the leader of the Democrats, Aleksa Bečić, clearly announced that he would vote against a possible referendum on Montenegro's accession to the NATO alliance. His president of the Municipal Board of Herceg Novi, also the president of that municipality, explicitly said in 2017 that he "was against NATO and will be against NATO" - it was emphasized in the announcement.
The vote in Pljevlje showed, say the DPS, who and what the Democrats are.
Any attempt by them to relativize their servitude to the Great Serbian nationalist ideology, after this vote, will be difficult - they say in the DPS Media Center.
