DPS: Milatović is actively working with Bečić and Abazović to prevent Spajić from becoming a mandate holder

The Democratic Party of Socialists responded to the announcement of the Europe Now Movement, regarding the consultation of party representatives with President Jakov Milatović on the mandate for the new Government.
In that statement, the PES compared the positions of the leaders of the coalition For the Future of Montenegro with the positions of the DPS.
The Europe now movement, whose leader Milojko Spajić has been unsuccessfully trying to form a government for almost two months, tried to equate the Democratic Party of Socialists and the Democratic Front with one more in a series of meaningless announcements. At the same time, PES forgets that one of the key differences between us and DF is precisely that PES intends to introduce the pro-Russian and clero-nationalist Democratic Front into the government, while - as they publicly claim, the pro-European and pro-Western coalition Together is not an option for them. Also, unlike them, the DPS with the Russian branch in Montenegro has never formed a coalition because, unlike you, our policy is not driven by the columns of Željko Ivanović, but is primarily determined by state interests - the announcement reads.
The DPS told the leaders of the PES that they have no problem with the Democratic Party of Socialists in the PES, but with the President of the State, Jakov Milatović, who himself stated at the consultation yesterday that Spajić does not have a majority, while actively working - in cooperation with Abazović and Bečić - to Spajić does not get a mandate to form the Government.
This would fulfill the joint obligation towards Vučić that Abazović remains prime minister as long as possible and enable a random president to take over PES, which would make the owner Vučić very satisfied. Therefore, do not wash your mouth with the Democratic Party of Socialists, but look each other in the eye and solve your own problems, because citizens do not have time to live in the captivity of irresponsible populists who intend to manage the political processes in Montenegro - the announcement concludes.
