DPS on Government amendments: Coward's policy dictated by fear and not state interest

AUTHOR: M.J.
The Government of Montenegro did not find it necessary to inform its citizens about the position towards the UN Resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica, but instead tries to disseminate information in a dosed manner in order to achieve the impossible - to please Vučić and Dodik, on the one hand, and on the other hand respect the European position on the Resolution . This was announced by DPS, after the Government's latest decision to submit two amendments to the UN Resolution on Srebrenica.

-Calculating, in terms of some amendment to the Resolution on Srebrenica, about which we received information not through an official channel but through a pro-government media, represents a clumsy conduct of foreign policy that already today received a response from Belgrade from the Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marko Đurić. The Government of Montenegro, headed by Spajić, chose to be a co-sponsor of Dodik's and Vučić's position instead of a co-sponsor of the Resolution - say the DPS.

It is, they say, a cowardly foreign policy dictated by fear, not the interest of the state.

-Mr. Spajić, if it turns out to be true that Montenegro has pretensions to relativize the Resolution with an amendment in order to minimize the damage you will suffer from Vučić and Dodik, then it is a cowardly foreign policy dictated by mere fear and not the strategic interest of the state. After all, it is common knowledge that in life and in politics, sitting on two chairs sometimes ends up falling down with both of them - they say in the DPS.
