DPS: Prolonging Katnić's detention due to communication with respected journalists is an introduction to the prosecutor's dictatorship, SDT has become a court of law

The proposal of the special state prosecutor Miloš Šoškić to extend the detention of former GST Milivoj Katnić because he had communication with prominent Montenegrin journalists is an unprecedented scandal and represents an unprecedented abuse of official position, the DPS announced.
"If a few months ago someone had a dilemma about the work of SDT and VDT, headed by Vladimir Novović and Milorad Marković, we believe that after everything that happened, the masks finally fell - Montenegro is on the threshold of a prosecutorial dictatorship and the establishment courts for the prosecution of former state officials and political dissidents.
By acting like this, the prosecutors are ruining themselves and the state, because in their vengeful campaign they even threw international practice under their feet and violated Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights.
Everything that Novović, Marković, Šoškić and the others are doing these days will be remembered not only in the history of the dishonor of Montenegro, but also as moves by which they are publicly indicting themselves for abuse of official position, which will see the light of day when Montenegro regains its professional, independent and independent prosecutor's office," the announcement states.
The time of dictatorship and attempted occupation will pass, as always, and all those who participate in this shameful act should know that no one has ever escaped from justice and that sooner or later, it will knock on their door, concludes the DPS.
