Last night, in Dnevnik 2, the public service showed a PR report from the formation of the city committee of the Europe Now Movement (PES) without clear signs that it was an advertising product of this party, announced the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS).
As they stated, this is the only way to interpret the striking positioning of the report on party activities, at the very beginning of Dnevnik and its duration of a record four minutes.
- This brutal violation of professional standards at the Public Service, which citizens finance and allocate almost 20 million euros for its work, showed that the manager of this house put RTCG resources completely in the function of promoting the ruling party. It is clear that the leadership of this house, led by Boris Raonic, buys the political support of PES, the services of the Public Service, which aggressively promote this party and marginalize the views of the opposition - they pointed out from the DPS.
They add that it is scandalous that in a country as advanced as the EU, the media services of the Public Service are rented to the ruling party.
- It is clear that in this way the political protection and promotion of the general director who has final judgments that he is illegal in this position is ensured, and PES, in return, "clears the way" for him to remain at the head of this media company for a long time. The capture of RTCG brings protection and promotion to the current editorial team and general director Raonic, and political benefit to PES, but completely renders the role of the Public Service meaningless. The DPS will politically problematize this issue of renting RTCG to the ruling party and inform the top domestic and foreign institutions and organizations about this gross abuse of the Public Service - the Democratic Party of Socialists said.
We would like to remind you that the city committee of the Europe Now Podgorica Movement was constituted yesterday in the capital city. Saša Mujović, minister of energy and mining, was elected president. The vice presidents are - Bojan Popović, Bojan Božović, Miloš Pižurica and Anđela Mićović.
