DPS started celebrating in Andrijevica, Ivanovic: We will be an indispensable factor in the future government

AUTHOR: M.J.
There is a big celebration in front of the headquarters of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) in Andrijevica. The Democrats' data based on one hundred percent of the processed sample showed that the DPS won 11 mandates, the Socialist People's Party (SNP) and the Democrats eight, and the European Movement now four.

The results look like this:

DPS - 11 mandates or 35.3 percent of votes

SNP/DEM - 8 mandates (24.1 percent of votes)

PES - 4 mandates (13.7 percent of votes)

ZBA - 3 mandates (11 percent of votes)

CIS - 3 mandates (9 percent of votes)

VPU - 1 mandate (5.2 percent of votes)

UCG - 0 mandates (1.7 percent of votes)

The President of the DPS Municipal Board, Dejan Ivanović, announced that, based on the first projections, the DPS won an election result of 40 percent.

- DPS won a convincing victory in today's elections. We are almost twice as strong as the second in line and we will be an indispensable factor in the future government in Andrijevica - he said.

The fate of Andrijevica, Ivanović says, will return to the hands of DPS.

- And we will continue with the development of our city - he added.

On the other hand, the leader of the Socialist People's Party (SNP), Vladimir Joković, said that their data showed that the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) was defeated and won 11 mandates. On the other hand, he says that the coalition of the SNP and the Democrats has eight mandates, the Europe Now Movement (PES) has four, the New Serbian Democracy (NSD) has three, one civic list has three, and the other has one mandate.

- We are satisfied with the result and invite everyone who was with us on August 30 to form a stable majority tomorrow. I believe that we will have a stable government for the next four years and I think that we are moving in the right direction and that DPS will not return to power anywhere in Montenegro - and especially not in Andrijevica - said Joković in a statement to TVCG.

He repeated that he will not form the government with DPS alone.

- The backbone should be those who have power at the state level, of course we will also take these two civil lists - added Joković.
