"We inform the public and the Council of the RTCG that, as a sign of protest due to the non-transparent process of selecting the general director of the RTCG, we will not attend the scheduled interviews today, and that we demand their postponement until the competent institutions of the State of Montenegro - the Labor Inspection, the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Dialogue, as well as the Administrative the board of the Parliament of Montenegro, urgently and without delay, does not check and confirm the correctness of the received applications of all nine candidates for the election of the General Director of RTCG", states the statement signed by Andrijana Kadija, Snežana Burzan Vuksanović, Slaven Knezović, Sabrija Vulić, Vladimir Maraš, Žarko Božović, Časlav Vujotić and Srđan Čović.
The ninth candidate is the current acting general manager Boris Raonic.
"Our suspicion that all candidates are not treated equally in this process is deepened by the assertion of the vice president of the RTCG Council, Marijana Camović-Veličković, that the president of the RTCG Council, Veselin Drljević, abused his position and hired lawyers with the aim of favoring the candidate Boris Raonic, despite the fact that the decision on legal the validity of the tender documents received is exclusively under the jurisdiction of the RTCG Legal Service and the formed Commission.
After fulfilling all the mentioned conditions, we are looking forward to new dates for the presentation of our draft RTCG development plans. "Depending on the further actions of the Council and other mentioned state authorities, we will include all relevant domestic and international organizations and institutions in the further procedure," the announcement concludes.
