Election silence in Podgorica and Kotor

Election silence ahead of the local elections in Podgorica and Kotor began at midnight and will last until the polls close tomorrow, at 8 p.m.

145,724 voters have the right to vote in the capital, and 13 lists will participate in the elections.

In the election race will be the coalition of the Movement Europe Now and Democratic Montenegro, as well as the coalition "For the Future of Podgorica", which consists of New Serbian Democracy, Democratic People's Party, Socialist People's Party, United Montenegro, Workers' Party, Free Montenegro and True Montenegro.

The coalition "For a better Podgorica Jakov Milatović" will also take part in the elections, which consists of the Movement for Podgorica, the Citizens' Movement URA and the Movement for Changes, then the Democratic Party of Socialists, the Bosniak Party.

The Party of European Progress, the European Union, which consists of the Social Democrats, the Social Democratic Party and the Liberal Party, then the Turn Movement, the Forward Movement, the Podgorica List, the Montenegrin Civic Action, the Montenegrin European Party and the Podgorica Tenant Movement will also fight for a place in the local parliament.

In Kotor, 18,498 citizens have the right to vote, who will choose between 12 lists.

The Montenegrin Civic Action, the list "Za Kotor - Miljan Popović", the Democratic Alternative - "Dr. Davor Kumburović - Da se Kotor pita", the European Union and the Citizens' Group - Guardians of the City will take part in the elections.

In the race for a seat in the local parliament, there will be a coalition for the future of Kotor, which consists of the New Serbian Democracy Democratic People's Party, then the Kotor Movement - Siniša Kovačević, the Croatian Civic Initiative, the Democratic Party of Socialists.

The coalition made up of the Democrats and the Europe Now Movement, Grbaljska lista, as well as the coalition made up of the Socialist People's Party and the Democratic Serbian Party, will take part in the elections.

Polling stations will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
