The fire at Alija Balijagić's house was most likely caused by a short circuit in the attic, the Police Directorate unofficially informed Portal Analitika.
"After the investigation and removal of traces from the scene that will be the subject of the necessary expert examination, in the opinion of two fire and electrical experts, the fire at A.B.'s house most likely started in the attic part of the house, from where it spread to the interior of the building, and in their opinion everything indicates that the cause of the fire was caused by a short circuit in the improvised connecting cable from the staircase to the interior of the building, but they will provide a more detailed statement after the necessary expert examination is completed," the Police Directorate unofficially informed Portal Analitika.
