Group of citizens wrote a popup: We are surprised by unreceporting to all rougher cases of discrimination against journalists in public service

The group of free journalists and citizens sent a letter to the Šifica Delegation of the European Union in Montenegro Kristina Popi in which we are surprised by your non-racking cases of discrimination against journalists in public service.

They said in the letter to gather in front of the headquarters of the EU Delegation to draw these phenomena and encourage it to the principled reaction.

The group of free journalists and citizens who support the right of journalists for free work and human dignity protested last Saturday, in front of the EU Delegation building in Podgorica. We believe that our messages came to you, although there was no one to receive them, and only part of the Montenegrin Glasilaž was published - it was listed in the letter.

They are not, as they say, surprised by the fact that until today, it did not advertise the media relations advisers Nadežda Dramićanin, which is a part of the message from that protest.

We are not surprised given that it, during almost five years of work in the EU delegation, communicates with a very narrow circle of media houses and journalists. And that is precisely with those who ignored the protest in front of the EU Delegation building, as well as all the previous ones - stand out in the letter.

They believe that the EU delegation is not entitled to a selective treatment of cases of threatening journalists and persecution of journalists.

That is why we are surprised by your unreceporting to increasingly and all rougher cases of discrimination journalists in the public service of Montenegro. The team before, until so long ago, the EU delegation as well as other embassies of the Western countries regularly and resolutely advertised on the occasion of the endangering journalists' freedoms - stands out in the letter.

As, as they say, free people and journalists advocate Montenegro in Montenegro in the European Union, disappointing that increasingly recognize the actual support for the Brussels administration to establish democratic values in our country, and even in the field of journalism.

We are stunned that there are no notes in your reports that Montenegro has become almost a completely media colony, because most of the media houses are being convinced by foreigners. It is equally inexplicable to us that is only mentioned that the regulatory policy is in these media, almost without exception, latent or open-ending and promptly - emphasized in the letter.

It is especially emphasized, difficult to understand the ratings on greater balance in the reporting of RTCG, "bearing the media house whose slogan is the European CG's slogan in our country - the Churches of Serbia / Serbian and Democratic Front, with an absolutely uncritical attitude towards Prime Minister Abazovic, his government and the party he leads. "

Not to remind you what the fatal consequences for peace and lives of citizens could have publishing misinformation from the protest in Belvedere - was emphasized in the letter.

Even, according to a group of citizens and journalists, the latest cases of journalists for the Constitution of the Guaranteed Law, the revachist degree of reputable journalists, degrading jobs, were reasonable to the EU delegation.

You might react, if you had information that such cases are not uncommon? Rarity are just people who had courage to speak publicly about the persecution they were exposed. It may mean something to you that in the media house with about 750 employees, the new management shared over 250 new employees. And "reinforcements" brought mainly from the famous voicers of the open promoting the Purity and Provogi Policy. In order to draw attention to these phenomena and encourage you to the principled reaction, we also gathered this Saturday before the EU Delegation building. So far, we have strictly guided that the number of gathered does not exceed 20, so as not for ourselves and the police rules procedural problems. The only goal was to send us a public messages. This time we give you a chance to show that you received our messages, and we are ready to explain them in direct conversation and clarify them - concluded in the letter.
