I am appalled that politicians who disparage Montenegro in this way aspire to high positions

I am appalled that politicians who belittle Montenegro and its only possible EU path aspire to high positions - said the vice-president of the Democratic Party of Socialists Sanja Damjanović, commenting on the statement of the leader of the Europe Now Movement, Milojko Spajić, in the "Discrimination" podcast.
In this podcast, Spajić, among other things, said that "we are not in a good position as far as accession to the European Union is concerned, for several reasons".
The first reason is because we do not have much to offer them from the perspective of the European Union. We are a poor country on the outskirts of Europe, a small country, simply out of courtesy they will tell us: "And you have beautiful nature, you have this, you have that". They don't really mean it. Everyone has their own beautiful countries and so on. We are not interested in them. You see, whenever these politicians from the West come to the Western Balkans, they visit several countries and Montenegro is always at the end - Spajić stated, among other things.
Damjanović believes that "it is unfortunate that these people occupy the political scene today, they do not understand or do not want to understand the potential and pearl of Montenegro".
They trample her, tear her down and deliberately humiliate her. They are the ones who, by coming to power, destroyed Montenegro's EU path, all its pan-European projects - she pointed out.
