Ikovic: The opposition councilors submitted a request for announcing a referendum on the price of water

On behalf of all councilors, Vuk Iković, the Danilovgrad Parliament, to conjure the meeting of the Municipal Assembly, where the citizens of Danilovgrad will be made by the dramatic increase of water prices in the Municipal Water Procedure.

"A third of the councilor supported the initiative of citizens to put the decision to increase the prices of water supply services, because the quality of water services in this municipal enterprise, and especially not their increase in citizens and the appropriation of the resources that is public. However, the councilor majority rejected this civil initiative, after which the councilors and the President of the Assembly avoided their legal obligation and to announce the local referendum and to examine their rejuvenation initiatives.

If the President of the Assembly in the prescribed period of 15 days, the Signified Councilors will convene himself, in accordance with the Municipal Assembly of Danilovgrad, says that all subsequent events of the local referendum, as the only ones who are invited to bring the final decision on the price of water services.
