Interrupted voting at two polling stations, voting will be held for the seventh time

Voting will take place at two polling stations in Šavnik next Sunday, as the election process was interrupted for the sixth time due to irregularities. Nine o'clock ago, the voting ended at polling station number 1 in the building of the Šavnik Municipality Assembly. There was also a problem at another polling station in the village of Kruševice, but voting continued for a short time. After all, the municipal election commission decided that the elections at those two polling stations should be repeated. 541 voters have the right to vote at those two polling stations. And this time, the polls were closed due to the actions of supporters and committee members from the pro-Serbian and pro-Russian coalitions gathered around the Democratic Front.
Gavrilo Cerović, the leader of the "For the Future of Šavnik" coalition, told TVCG that voters from Nikšić, whom he says they do not know, came to Šavnik this Sunday to vote.
The President of the Municipality of Šavnik Jugoslav Jakić (DPS) says that the elections were not held for the sixth time because, as he adds, their political opponents are running away from electoral defeat.
The Minister of Internal Affairs, Filip Adžić, reacted to statements that the police were also to blame for the failed elections in Šavnik, stressing that despite the fact that members of the police in increased numbers and very diligently monitor the election day and maintain order and peace, their legal ability to stop the suspension of voting does not exist. As he emphasized, the police cannot act in full capacity without an adequate reaction and full support of the competent state prosecutor's office.
