Janovic: The perception remains that DPS is undesirable, there are still people who are not real representants of the party

DPS MP and former Sport Minister, Nikola Janović said that the perception of DPS was still present in Montenegro as parties undesirable for any coalition.

Janovic told the RTCG interview that the reason for this is insufficiently good reform within the party.

We didn't get the best as opposition and unfortunately, the perception remained that DPS was still an undesirable party for any coalition. Thus, the largest personnel changes were made in relation to all other parties, the narrative remained that it means that it is sinning in the approach, in the manner of making decisions and obviously in rhetoric. It should be admitted that there were people who were not the right represented of our parties and that some are still there. I'm talking about those who or don't understand or don't want to understand that perception in politics is not what you think of yourself than it is important that others think about you. In this way, his appearance in public life contributes to the additional impression that a little changed.

He adds that it is more important that "forces that are clearly oriented civil and which have been mostly done to strengthen civil identity in Montenegro and the DPS was a headquarters of that action and ideas, all necessary steps."

It is as he says necessary, not only because of them alone but also because of society as a whole.

I repeat, it is indisputable that DPS made certain steps, above all when it comes to personnel policy. But now it is obvious that citizens expected much more and much stronger reform procedure in the part of the party policy. That it is not so, we would not lose more than 45,000 votes between the two election cycles. Foreign parliamentary choices are more than clear - citizens do not want policies to return to the past, which will share them in the final that they do not give the answer to economic The challenges of the time we live in, Janovic pointed out.

He also adds that there is a good will on their part for consent in the parliament on judicial reform and election legislation.

Even in words, in all parliamentary parties there is a will to go out of the vicious circle in which we are already two election cycles (not by the Will of DPS). Unfortunately, I am afraid that the final agreement will re-imply party agreements and trade instead of choosing the best solutions, Janovic said.

Commenting can be an agreement between the authorities and opposition on the Law on Origin of the Assets, Janovic emphasized the KATE DPS have no problem with that legal solution.

On the contrary - our votes are adopted laws that allow assets that have been acquired. Where I see the problem is compliance with European legislation, but also the fact that the poor legal solution can use it as a policy for calculation with political dissidents. I don't even mean the calculation with the DPS, leads Janovic.

He said that the main priority of the Parliament of Montenegro must be the proposals for the law approaching us with the European Union.

Unfortunately, if it is judged by what we have had the opportunity to see so far, the basic priority of this parliamentary management will be the meaning of the serious work of parliament. The fact that we had one afterpony session and one in addition to the President of Parliament did not attend the deputies, speaks alone for himself, says Janovic.
