Jovanović: We will support the election of Odžić, we have made decisions with DPS before

The leader of the political group "Budva our city" Nikola Jovanović said that Petar Odžić from the European Union has been formally proposed for the president of the Budva Municipal Assembly, and that they will support his election. The proposal was signed by 11 councilors, he said.

Jovanović told reporters that they have been cooperating with Odžić and his entity since 2017, and that as the Secretary of Finance of the Budva Municipality he had excellent results. As he said, Odžić has shown exceptional results and great responsibility, and that recommends him.

Jovanović also said that there is a circus in the Budva Municipal Assembly hall and that people who cannot be identified are present. He adds that an attempt is being made to prevent the session.

"We will seek the support of councilors for all personnel decisions. We are not dividing them into first- or second-tier councilors, I believe that after the second election the responsibility is greater. I expect support from all 33 councilors," said Jovanović.

He said that they had made decisions with DPS before, decisions on the budget, investment plans...

"In this parliament, and in the state parliament, the same DPS votes for various decisions of other political entities, I don't see what the problem is," said Jovanović.
