The Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Budva and the leader of the "Budva our city" list, Nikola Jovanović, announced at a press conference that the situation in Budva is alarming and extraordinary.
"Today we had an intrusion of security-related persons and representatives of lawbreakers into the local parliament, organized by Democratic Montenegro and New Serbian Democracy in a way to prevent the constitution of the government, that is, the constitution of the local parliament and to complete the electoral will of the citizens of Budva", stressed Jovanović.
He added that "today, unfortunately, this action was completed and supported by state institutions, primarily the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs through the actions of State Secretary Kažanegra Stanišić".
He said that Kažanegra Stanišić "instead of preventing perpetrators and lawbreakers, she was inviting these persons to break into the hall of the Budva Municipal Assembly today and to prevent its work".
As he says, BIL individuals broke through the door, overpowered the security and "are holding the Municipality of Budva hostage".
He calls on Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, the Speaker of the Parliament Andrija Mandić and the President of the State Jakov Milatović to introduce a state of emergency in BD, warning of the danger of bloodshed.
Jovanović said that the Police Directorate must react urgently and send special units, including the SAJ, because, he believes, this is an act of terrorism.
Jovanović accused the New Serbian Democracy of cooperating with criminal elements, saying that the state leadership, along with the Minister of Police and the Director of the Police Directorate, are fully responsible for further events in Budva.
"In such a state of emergency, it is impossible to act if the Police Directorate does not react. There is no continuation of the session", said Jovanović, adding that if the police do not react then it is clear that they are under the political control of Democratic Montenegro.
As he says, no councilor from the list he leads is considering cooperation with the NSD.
