Mašković on chanting: Maybe this is the reconciled Montenegro

Worrying messages from the streets of the capital. Chanting "Knife, wire, Podgorica" represents an unacceptable act of chauvinism and extremism - said Miloš Mašković, head of the Club of Councilors SD-LP in the Assembly of the Capital City.
Disappointing was the reaction of the police who accompanied the Nikšić fans, who did not respond adequately to the shouts associated with "Knife, wire, Srebrenica" and thereby glorify the genocide that happened in Srebrenica as well - Mašković points out on Twitter.
He adds that in "the context of the current political crisis in Montenegro, such events further complicate the situation and introduce additional tension into society".
It is necessary that all responsible actors take their share of responsibility. Organizers of sports events, fans, police and other relevant institutions must work together to create an atmosphere in which human dignity is respected and in which there is no place for chauvinism, extremism and the propagation of violence. Maybe this is the reconciled Montenegro that the president of the country and the outgoing prime minister are telling us about - concluded Mašković.
