The nurse at Podgorica Airport, Snežana Magoč, who saved the life of a passenger at this airport with her quick reaction, will be declared the best employee of the company - the Airport of Montenegro announced.
As they point out, Magoč is their respected colleague who is well-known in professional circles for her knowledge, professionalism and kind words, and from today also to the wider public.
As stated in the announcement, Magoč brought an Air Montenegro passenger back to life three times last night during her regular shift and thus enabled him to live a long and healthy life.
- It is an honor for Airports of Montenegro that Snežana is part of our team, and we will make it official on Airport Day of Montenegro on July 23, when she will be presented with an award for the best employee of the company - they announced in a statement.
Magoč said that she was on doctor Vid Vujović's shift, and at the first call of her nurse colleague Seka Radošević, she immediately "flew" to the platform where she found a passenger who was not breathing.
- Without delay, I started CPR (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, which I had to repeat three times. It seems to me that everything lasted an eternity. However, as a team, it turns out, we reacted very quickly and according to information from the Clinical Center of Montenegro, the patient is in a stable condition today - said Magoč.
According to the press release, she is at work today on a regular shift at Podgorica Airport.
- The ambulance team within the Ground Handling Service at Podgorica Airport in one shift consists of a doctor, a ground flight attendant who is a nurse and a driver. No airport in the world, not even ours, can be open if, along with all other services, the medical team is not ready. The team of the Podgorica clinic includes Dr. Velimir Rubežić, Dr. Vido Vujović, Dr. Tatjana Đuričković, and Dr. Vesna Vulanović, while the nurses, in addition to Magoč, also include Seka Radošević, Bojana Kopitović, Vesna Suhih, Svetlana Pavićević, as well as medical technician Vječislav Peličić - they specified from Montenegro Airport.
They remind that the teams of the Airport of Montenegro have been working in heatstroke conditions for the last few weeks, which is why they once again ask all passengers for their understanding of the circumstances in which air traffic takes place.
- And our colleagues face the same problems every day throughout the day that our respected passengers encounter - concluded from the Airport of Montenegro.
