Jelena Marković, vice president of the Liberal Party and councilor in Nikšić Municipal Council, reacted to today's scandal in Cetinje.
- Can't we organize a civilized and numerous protest in front of the monastery and express our dissatisfaction with what the SPC is doing in the middle of Cetinje?
Protests are a democratic act with which we express dissatisfaction with everything that happens to us, so I call on the sovereignist parliamentary parties to organize one or more protest rallies, if they think that the red line has been crossed and that resistance to attacks on the homeland of all of us is a clear resistance to the organized destabilization of Montenegro the government from Serbia through the government from Montenegro, and mostly through the influence of the Church of Serbia, they have been carrying out this for 50 years, aggressively and openly for the last 5 years?! - she said on the X social network.
He tells them, "enough is enough".
- I have no doubt that the support of the first man of CT, Nikola Djuraskovic, will not be absent and that even now, as always since he took office, he will unequivocally protect Montenegrin identity and the national symbol of Montenegrins - the Cetinje Monastery, our sanctuary, and that he is ready for the sake of a higher goal for any agreement for the table headed by him as the host of the Capital and to receive all those for whom the defense of the Montenegrin identity and Montenegro is a duty they carry in their hearts. Any organization, party, civil sector, prominent civil activists, media and others who are considered "protectors of state-building interests" should not wait for an invitation, but should be clear and quick in their support by uniting the resistance through protest with their infrastructures and personal contribution in the form of presence - says Marković.
- Montenegrins of all three faiths, members of minority nations, the opposition and all patriots, forget everything before, turn off vanity, do what is expected of you and together let's be the backbone of Montenegro, which when we are united like our ancestors were, no one can break. Montenegro is eternal - she points out.
