Media center DPS: Šišević launched a fight against the media and public speech

The dark age is clearly just arriving in Montenegro, and this is confirmed by the scandalous and, above all, dangerous request of state prosecutor Snežana Šišević, which represents a classic attempt to stifle free speech - said the Media Center of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) after the Higher State the prosecution asked the Court for Misdemeanors in Podgorica to initiate proceedings against FCJK professor Dr. Boban Batrićević because of the column that was published on the Antena M portal.
They believe that the prosecutor Snežana Šišević launched an institutional fight against media freedom and public speech by ordering the initiation of proceedings against the author Boban Batrićević because of the views expressed, which did not violate any law.
It is interesting, however, how the Montenegrin prosecutor's office promotes the worst possible propaganda every day, which is completely freely distributed through the media, which violates a whole series of laws of this country - starting with the fact that they are not even registered in accordance with the law, all the way to hate speech, denial of the sovereignty of Montenegro, humiliation and hatred directed towards numerous ethnic communities, targeting of individuals, denial of genocide - they assessed in the Media Center of DPS.
And all this is allowed in our country, but they indicate that it is clearly not what the law does not sanction, and what is absolutely allowed.
And those are value judgments about a certain religious community. Of course, it is an attempt to silence anyone who dares to point out the direction in which Montenegrin society is going. We are telling the Prosecutor's Office to stop persecuting critics of the government and those it serves and not to stifle civil liberties. Otherwise, we will have an answer to that too - they concluded in the statement.
