The Ministry of Internal Affairs has issued a warning based on data from the Institute of Hydrometeorology and Seismology of Montenegro.
Due to the presence of a cyclone in the Tyrrhenian Sea, which is gradually moving towards the southern Adriatic and Ionian Sea, and the arrival of noticeably cold air from the north, which leads to a strengthening of air pressure, a strong gradient field is being established above our country (a large difference in pressure at a relatively short distance).
Tonight and the next two to three days, increased and strong north and northeast winds are expected, with high average speeds, and gusts of up to 100 km/h.
Mostly light to moderate precipitation is expected, somewhat more pronounced in eastern areas. Snow in most continental areas, and rain on the coast.
The Directorate for Protection and Rescue of the Ministry of Internal Affairs sent the aforementioned warning to all participants in the protection and rescue system and pointed out the need to increase operational readiness.
