Mihailović: Abazović's shameless statements will not silence us

Prime Minister in technical mandate Dritan Abazović targeted the NGO "Parents" for being a political organization of the former Minister of Education and certain structures that constantly needs to attack the Government and the Prime Minister. Kristina Mihailović from that NGO told Pobjeda that Abazović is not the first politician to characterize them that way, but that "he is really the first who is so reckless as to announce something like this publicly".
We know that the prime minister is not too often referred to issues concerning parents and children in Montenegro, although formally he likes to deal with it, so he presides over the Council for the Rights of the Child, which hardly ever meets, even when there are some urgent cases of endangering security or other rights of children. This is why we understand his lack of knowledge regarding our reactions to the same or similar moves by previous governments - Mihailović said.
She reminded that such moves are evidence of ill-considered decisions in the education system, which is at a worryingly low level, which was also confirmed by the Analysis of the Education Sector, UNICEF/Ministry of Education.
We are sorry, but these shameless statements will not stop or silence us whenever we witness the reckless and thoughtless actions of all those who play with education, health, social and child protection in Montenegro. We promise this to the prime minister and to everyone who thinks similarly, and they can choose what they will extract from the good old opus "political party, political mercenaries, mercenaries of certain structures, grant stars, malefactors who work against the interests of the state..." - Mihailović said.
She pointed out that the results speak about their work, and the hundreds of thousands of parents who follow their work, but also tens of thousands of those who contacted us about the problems they have in the state of Montenegro.
At yesterday's session, Abazović said that the government's goal is to protect the system, not to choose between tourism and education, and that "IQ is the biggest opponent of the development of Montenegro."
Yesterday, the Association of Parents reacted by saying that Abazović, in addition to calling all those who disagree with him and the decision of the Minister of Education Miomir Vojinović regarding the postponement of the second semester unintelligent, and announced that they were shocked by the inappropriate reactions of the Prime Minister regarding this organization.
Answering questions from journalists in Kotor, Abazović said today that he did not offend any parents in Montenegro.
I respect everyone's opinion. I am sorry that an NGO, which is not an NGO, but a political organization of the former Minister of Education and certain structures, constantly has the need to attack the Government and the Prime Minister. What are the protests that they announced due to the extension of the holiday? I said that IQ is an opponent of the development of Montenegro - he said.
Abazović claims that he has nothing against someone saying that it is bad that the holiday has been extended.
I did not speak for the parents, I spoke for a few malicious people who aim to play with people's emotions when they say that the extension of the vacation from five days will completely negate education in Montenegro. Or contrary to that logic that starting on time will completely negate the tourist season. That is not true - the Prime Minister pointed out in the technical mandate.
He believes that the parents overwhelmingly supported the Government's decision.
By definition, a parent always tries to be close to the needs of his children - said Abazović.
