Milatović resigned from all positions in PES: The way of working is contrary to the promised and values that I had in mind

Deputy President of the Europe Now Movement and President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović resigned from all positions in the party.
When establishing the Europe Now! Movement, we promised citizens transparency in work, rational and reasoned dialogue about policies that are inclusive and sustainable. At the same time, we promised that competence and personal integrity will be decisive factors in employment and advancement. Also, we promised a different political culture based on respect for diversity and affirmation of European values - he wrote on the X social network.
As he added, the current way of working is contrary to the promises and values he had in mind when creating the Movement.
For this reason, I am resigning from all positions in the Movement. The Europe Now movement was and will remain an important part of me because together we wrote the history of democratic changes in the country. As before, exclusively guided by the interests of the citizens, as the President of Montenegro, I will direct all my capacities towards the realization of key state priorities - wrote Milatović.
