The President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović and Foreign Minister Filip Ivanovic will discuss today on the appointment of new ambassadors in the Presidency building.
The Law on External Affairs stipulates that the proposal for the installation of ambassadors is adopted by the Government, on the proposal of the boss of diplomacy.
Upon obtaining the aggregate of the State of Reception and Opinions of the Committee for the International Relations of the Parliament of Montenegro, the President of the State appoints the ambassador.
For heads of mission in international organizations, the aggramary is not needed.
This process is preceded by foreign policy consultations.
