Montenegro will not get used to the Nazi-fascist ideology of Velimirović, and it would be good for Vraneš to start getting used to the laws

The official request of the President of the Municipality of Pljevlja, Dario Vraneš, addressed to the directors of municipal public institutions and companies to highlight the so-called the Serbian tricolor is illegal, said historian Dragutin Papović.
Papović reminds that Vraneš referred to Article 11 of the Law on the Selection, Use and Public Display of National Symbols, which states: "In local self-government units where members of a minority nation or other minority national communities make up the majority of the population, according to the results of the last census, in the buildings of the authorities of local self-government and public institutions founded by the municipality, that is, the state, the flag of that minority nation or other minority national community is constantly flying.
"Vraneš thinks that on the basis of this article he can determine the flag of the Serbian people in Montenegro and display it at his own discretion. However, in Article 4 of this law, it is written, among other things, that the standard of the flag is determined by its decision of the council of a minority nation or other minority national community, in the manner established by the statute of the council. Then the Government of Montenegro must give its consent to the decision of the National Council, after which the original flag is sent to the President of the Parliament of Montenegro for safekeeping. Only after that, the flag of the minority nation can be displayed in accordance with Article 11", says Papović.
The bottom line, he adds, is that the Serbian National Council in Montenegro has not yet established a decision on the national flag, nor has a legal procedure been carried out.
"This means that the so-called The Serbian tricolor is neither the legal nor the official flag of the Serbian people in Montenegro. The tricolors displayed on the building of the Municipality of Pljevlja and on several other municipal buildings in Montenegro were placed illegally and are not the official symbol of the Serbian people in Montenegro. They are now just a symbol of the philandering of a few mayors and a task for the competent state inspection to remove them.
Vraneš also said that this is a sign of the arrival of "Svetosava Montenegro, which everyone will have to get used to". "Montenegro will not get used to the Nazi-fascist ideology of Nikolaj Velimirović, and it would be good for the mayor of Vraneš to start getting used to the laws of Montenegro," concluded Papović.
