Muratović: It is a shame that citizens are being detained, while those in power responsible for the Q-fever scandal sleep peacefully

"Even today, ugly and sad pictures from Nikšić are being detained. Those who are justifiably concerned about the health of all the citizens of the Bogetići Municipality, those who are defending their properties, their ancestral lands, because the irresponsible local and state authorities are burying euthanized cows infected with Q-fever," he says. President of the Municipal Board DPS Nikšić, Boris Muratović.
Muratović states that the actions of the authorities should be reversed and that those responsible for the spread of Q fever and sore throat should be brought to justice.
"Instead of the authorities issuing an order to arrest those who, contrary to all rules and procedures, ordered the burying, then digging up of infected cows in Župa Nikšićka, then burying them again in another location, they turned on the citizens who are scared and who are sincerely fighting for the protection of their health and that of their families.
We ask the people who ordered today's arrests why they did not take the responsible persons from the Municipality and the Government away with their hands tied for this Q-fever scandal, but instead ordered the arrest of two elderly people and a woman?! It's a shame that it couldn't be more shameful!
The local government, which only knows how to carry out its perverse plans with force and repression and works against the will of the citizens, will fare the way it deserves in the upcoming elections - it will be defeated and sent, together with these ugly and sad images, to the political past," he said.
