Nikola Martinović, the lawyer of the accused Petar Lazović, addressed the public regarding the article in Vijest and sent a clear message to the Prime Minister in technical mandate, Dritan Abazović.
Martinović stated that Abazović exerts and alludes to illegal influence in the text published by Vijesti, which is a criminal offense in Montenegro.
Dritan Abazović, a person to whom truth, honor and law are unknown, by accident the Prime Minister of the Government that no one wants anymore, again sows hatred and calls for the violation of basic and universal civilizational and legal norms and the rights of Petar Lazović. Unable to present any facts about Petar Lazovć's guilt, now his target is respectable Montenegrins and businessmen, people he does not know at all, but he wants to harm them because of his human attitude towards the family of a decade-long friend. Abazović does not know such people and will never know or have them as friends, precisely because of the absence of feelings of friendship and honor. Abazović is driven only by his personal and current interest in performing any function - said Martinović.
As he pointed out, for this interest, Abazović leaves friends, betrays party comrades, and offers everything to the new coalition partner, in order to extend the mandate even for one more day.
That's why the former Prime Minister Krivokapić, whom he was vice-president, with whom he hugged and kissed, shared a bottle of brandy, whom he swore by, calls him a traitor after less than a year of friendship. A fierce enemy of the DPS, he was an excellent partner in overthrowing his own government and electing a new one in which he would advance and become prime minister instead of vice president. When elected to the position of prime minister, DPS Abazović was impeccable. Better than all the others with whom he shared the mandate until then. Martinović pointed out that Abazović neither visited his party friend who is in custody, nor offered any property for possible bail.

In the text published today in the newspaper Vijesti, it is untrue that citizens are doing something for Petar Lazović. The guarantors of Lazović's freedom are people with a name and a character that enables them to be, above all, people, even in these troubled times. Insinuations that the guarantors are connected to crime are claims that harm their reputation, and for such claims, Abazović and those who make them will have the opportunity to present their arguments before the court. Brave in public gossiping and spreading gossip, Abazović did not show an iota of courage when he had to present his arguments in front of the court. so far bravely back down - he added.
Martinović clearly believes that Abazović in the text published by Vijesti exerts and alludes to illegal influence, which is a criminal offense in Montenegro.
Because of this, he will have the opportunity to inform the competent prosecutor of the criteria by which he chooses and influence others to decide with whom the state can and cannot do business. This text is an excellent example for investors and entrepreneurs to understand what freedom of entrepreneurship, free market and prohibition of monopolies, and equality of citizens before the law mean in the Government whose prime minister is Abazović - concluded the lawyer.
