According to the Judicial Council, in 2023, the criminal offense of domestic violence or family community in the paper was 443 cases, (253 convictions);
According to the Basic State Prosecutor's Office, Podgorica, in the last year, there were 128 applications for the criminal offense of domestic violence or in the family community;
According to the work of the work of cases of misdemeanors in the Family Domestic Domestic Protection Act, in 2023, the murduresponds occur in 2023 employees of 2,311 cases in the field of domestic violence (family of domestic violence ( items resolved in the manner: 451 fines; 155 prison sentence; 351 of the Conductor; 19 of the Advanced Measures; In 18 cases the request was suspended; in 331 cases made the acquittal decision, while 77 cases resolved in another way;
In 2023, the Senior Court for Misdemeanors of Montenegro had 129 cases in the field of the Law on Protection against Domestic Violence,
Belonging even more observations and evaluations from the Protector's practice, for which, unfortunately, this topic can not yet be "worn out". Namely, women in Montenegrin society are still facing the challenges of inequality, ie achieving equality in all spheres of social and political life. Women are still in the group of those who are at the most successful risk of discrimination, with persons with disabilities, the citizens of weak standing conditions, Roma and Egyptians, the LGBTQ community, those living in underdeveloped and rural areas - allegations in response.
The risk of poverty for women is accompanied by, expire, a long-lasting lower employment rate, a difference in the level of salaries and the dominance of men in entrepreneurial activity.
Gender balance remains not achieved in many areas, such as political action, administrative leadership, high-level education, health system, etc. More decisive interventions in terms of status and the rights of women in the labor market, (labor market protection, maternity protection, maternal care facilities. A particularly difficult position has women who belong to vulnerable groups, such as people with disabilities, seniors, women in a state of social needs, Roma women, victims of violence as well as women from rural areas and members of the LGBT population. We also warn the growing presence of Mizoga's, sexist and hate speech towards women, especially in online sphere, which grossly insulted the dignity of women. All these issues and problems are also included in the domain of protection against discrimination - indicate the Ombudsman Institution.
They recall that the improvement of the rights and position of women involves achieving real economic, political and social equality with men, breaking stereotypical behavior and gender prejudices.
In this regard and art has always been a powerful tool in the fight for positive social changes, and as such is certainly inseparable from the value of human rights and freedoms. The theater should be considered a place that makes the freedom of expression, dialogue and art and prejudice, and is not in the leadership that it does not violate this freedom and unjustifically restricted, due to personal attitudes on the play.
From the institution of the Protector, they conclude that instead of rejection of the presentation, with the explanation that "women discriminate", the primacy should be given to the truth, objective indicators and gloomy reality when it comes to victims of violence. It is the best way to bring the theater back the place that belongs to him.
