Former Minister of European Affairs in the Government of Montenegro, Jovana Marović, reacted to the statement of newly elected President Jakov Milatović that it is better to be part of the Open Balkans than the closed Balkans.
She assessed that she agrees with this statement, with the fact that, as she says, "open" here is not figurative, but rather an initiative that has not yet produced results.
The OB initiative is a truncated one and overlaps with already existing initiatives - Marović assessed.
Commenting on Milatović's statement that he had a friendly conversation with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, Marović points out that he does not deal with autocrats on a friendly basis, but officially as long as they are in office.
