Parliamentary Opposition: We will propose an agreement to continue the dialogue, the offered version is not acceptable

The parliamentary opposition notes that the Agreement proposed by the current government does not bring any new elements compared to the previously expressed positions, which means that their intention is not dialogue and compromise, but conditionality.

As the opposition announced, given that they have already clearly defined their political and institutional position on these issues, they consider this proposal unacceptable.

"Given our commitment to finding a solution to the current political-institutional crisis, we inform the public that we are working on drafting our own Agreement.

We will present the essential guidelines of our proposal to the Quint ambassadors and the EU Delegation in Podgorica at a meeting scheduled for Monday, in order to unequivocally demonstrate our commitment to Montenegro's European path and the rule of law.

We are also ready to present it to the parliamentary majority at the continuation of the Collegium session, which we propose to hold next week," the DPS said in a statement to the media.
