PEN CENTER: Discrimination of Montenegrin language requires an emergency reaction of state organs and prosecuting those who funeral

The Montenegrin Pen Center reacted, as they stated, on the occasion of the discrimination of RTCG journalists.

We convey the reactions integrally:

"Information that public service management has forbidden one of the journalists of Radio Montenegro to work in an informative program for the use of Montenegrin language, if its credibility confirms, it will be another of the clear symptoms of fascination of Montenegrin society.

Discrimination against the linguistic criteria of RTCG journalists is part of a broader process that has been implemented in the past just over two years by the project of segregation of national Montenegrins, which should be assimilated in the plans of the ideologue of the Serbian world and their national culture drowned to Serbian culture.

The Montenegrin Language was designated as an official language in Montenegro, and by the Official Spelling of the Montenegrin language, which by the decision published in the official list of Montenegro became an official and obligatory document, the rules of the standard Montenegrin language were defined.

Any example of negation or prohibition of Montenegrin language is directly violating the Constitution of Montenegro, and the discrimination of individuals, due to the use of Montenegrin, requires an emergency reaction of state organs and prosecuting those who make discrimination.

If the truth of the information is confirmed that RTCG management has reached for linguistic discrimination, the Montenegrin PEN Center will require all competent state organs an emergency reaction, and the shy-fascist treatment of RTCG management will also inform the relevant international partners, as well as official representatives of foreign diplomatic missions in Montenegro.
